Time, patience, and tireless energy would be needed to take on playful, mischievous little Bessy. At only a year and a half old, she tends to get too excited and could easily knock someone over just by jumping up to greet them. But Bessy is a sweetheart and would not hurt anyone on purpose.
Chewing is her favorite pastime, whether it be balls, ropes, or bones. Some training may be needed to prevent destructive chewing, and to teach her not to nip at the hands that are petting her.
Bessy may not get along with other dogs, as the sight of other dogs coming and going from the kennels gets her riled up. She’s a loud barker, but some gentle shushing usually quiets her down.
